Jon Roberts

Subjects: AP Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, other high school Math

Jon is a retired engineer from the semiconductor industry. He has been tutoring high school and college math and science for over six years. For students actively in class, he shadows their lesson plan and try to get a little ahead if the student is able to bring the class syllabus. He goes over the week's material, finds out the weaknesses and fixes them up, but the majority of the time is spent on working problems, including the homework. He "keeps an eye on each pencil stroke" and interrupts immediately when a student goes wrong. For preparation work, he will assemble a lesson plan and schedule to meet the student's individual needs.

Jon meets with students at their town libraries, or at Panera's or Starbucks, once or twice a week.
