The information families ask about most

01

Sessions

Students typically meet for 50–55 minutes, at the same day and time each week.

02

Commitment

CTG does not require a fixed number of sessions. The family decides when to suspend tutoring.

03

Format

Donna and Dr. Ben offer in-person tutoring; Zoom may also be appropriate. Joyce, James and April tutor virtually.

04

Practice

CTG teaches strategies and skills, assigns weekly practice, and emphasizes analysis of mistakes.

05

Materials

For SAT preparation, CTG uses College Board materials and its Khan Academy affiliate rather than third-party SAT questions.

06

Starting point

When available, CTG begins with PSAT or preACT results to identify each student's strengths, weak spots and question patterns.
